The department of General Engineering & sciences was established in 2011. The department includes significant subjects like Mathematics, Chemistry, Physics, Communication skills and Developing life skills to provide the basic fundamental conceptual knowledge, which helps to build foundation of technical subjects of the first year students, The department has its strength in the infrastructure that meets high standards, State-of-arts laboratories. The department is headed by Prof. R.R.Pawar and supported by highly qualified, dynamic and well experienced faculty members. The department has well equipped laboratories strictly designed as per the standard norms of AICTE & MSBTE for Physics, chemistry and Communication skills. All the labs are artistically designed and contain all modern equipment’s, apparatus & software’s.
The department of general Engineering & sciences is working as a supporting department to all engineering departments. General Engineering & sciences possess extensive range of applications in many other fields such as industry, Medical sciences, Ecology, Management, Economics and finance, Military applications and many others.
